Care

Most of FLOWHER period swimsuits are ethically made out of ECONYL®, infinitely recyclable nylon fibers originally recycled from ocean waste. As an addition to sustainability, this fabric is sun and oil cream resistants, anti-UV, and provides an excellent coverage. Others non-recycled period-proof FLOWHER swimsuits are made out of Italian fabrics, all of them being OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified (non-harmful).

FLOWHER technology relies on a fine absorbant gusset made for light flow, spotting days and for everyday wear. Two layers of OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified cotton are assembled with a polyester waterproof layer preventing blood to stain or leak from the swimsuit. Once wet, the bottoms do not swell and still retains blood, allowing comfort and serenity.
For heavier flow, FLOWHER period swimwear can be worn in addition to a non harmful internal hygienic protection (cup or organic tampons) for maximum safety.

FLOWHER period swimwear have been created to be worn not only during this special time of the month but made for everyday use. The discrete gusset feels and looks like your perfect regular swimwear bottoms.

Gently wash in clear water before first use, to expand the absorbant capacity of the period swimwear. Rinse after each use and contact with salt water or chlorine. Cold hand wash. Do not use fabric softener. Lay flat to dry. Do not iron. Avoid high heat sources (e.g.: radiator) to dry and preserve the technical fabric.

It is not recommended to wear a wet swimsuit for longer than two hours to avoid any bacterial infections.
