What are the swimsuits' characteristics?
FLOWHER period-proof swimsuits have an absorbent part specially designed to provide discreet menstrual protection. This absorbent part is made out of non-harmful fabrics (100% Cotton OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 & 100% Polyester) that can retain menstrual flow and prevent leaks. Period-proof swimsuits are made from eco-friendly materials, making them an environmental - friendly and reusable options.
How does it work?
The period-proof swimsuit has an absorbent part that can retain menstrual flows and prevent leaks. It is composed of two layers of OEKO TEX certified cotton that absorb the blood, and a waterproof technical fabric that keeps the blood inside the lining and prevents from stains and leaks. It is recommended to hand-wash the swimsuit before its first use to maximize its absorbent capacity.
How long can I keep it on?
It is not recommended to keep a wet swimsuit on for more than two hours as it can lead to bacterial infections.
For which flow?
FLOWHER period-proof swimsuits are recommended for spotting and light to medium flows (depending on everyone's flows). For heavier flows, the menstrual swimsuit can be worn with an additional hygienic protection (such as a cup or an organic tampon) for maximum safety. The period-proof swimsuits have also been designed to be worn off periods.
Can I swim with it?
Yes, FLOWHER's period-proof swimsuits have been designed to do so. They are designed to be used during water activities and to prevent leakage without the feeling of a heavy swimsuit when wet, which can ensure a comfortable and secure feeling during these activities.
Where are FLOWHER's swimsuits produced?
FLOWHER period-proof swimsuits are all made in Portugal in a workshop that has been specialized in swimsuits craftmanship for many years. It is a human-sized workshop that ensures that working conditions comply with the specifications of the European Union.
How to wash my swimsuit?
Period-friendly swimsuit should be hand-washed with cold or warm water and with a neutral soap. Fabric softeners or bleaching agents should not be used, as they can damage the fibers and shorten the life of the period-friendly swimsuit. It is recommended to hand-wash before first use in order to maximize the swimsuit absorbant capacity.
How to dry my swimsuit?
The period-friendly swimsuit should not dry using a heat source that can damage the fibers and affect the absorbent properties of the lining. Gently pat dry any excess water with a clean towel, then lay it flat to air dry.

FLOWHER offers international delivery. Please note that delivery fees and times may vary depending on your country of residence and the products you order.
When can I receive my order?
Delivery to METROPOLITAN FRANCE: 2 to 3 working days.
Express delivery to METROPOLITAN FRANCE: 24h if order placed before 2pm UTC from monday to friday (except on bank holidays).
Delivery to EUROPE: 3 to 8 working days.
Delivery to other countries worldwide: 5 to 15 working days.
However, please note that these delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on various factors such as weather conditions, local holidays, recipient availability, carrier's deadlines, etc.
How do I exchange or get a refund of my order?
For any claims regarding your order, please contact our customer service by email at hello@flowherswimwear.com within 72 hours after receiving your package. Please make sure to send us an email to inform us of the exchange or return of your order. Without this email, we cannot accept any exchanges nor returns.
What are the exchange or refund conditions?
We accept exchanges and refunds for all products (except for promotional products) within 14 days from the day you received the order. We require the following conditions to be met:
- The item(s) must be in their original condition, with original tags and hygienic protection.
The item must be in its original packaging. - The item must not have been worn, washed, or modified in any way.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns that do not meet the above criteria. Refunds will be made excluding shipping costs and return label.
What are the refund timeframes?
We will refund you by the same method used for payment within 1 to 2 business days after receiving your returned item(s).
